I love the rounded ends and especially the star at the center on the top of this tall tramp art frame, which I believe was made to hold a mirror below and to be hung by the top bar, such that it could also easily be removed from the wall--pretty handy. The frame has good age to it, originally painted the red that shows on the backside, then more recently painted the gold on it now, which is pretty bright, lending some glam to its folkiness.
17 1/2" t x 9 3/4" w x 2" d and in very good shape, without a missing bit and very sturdy. There is split at the very center of the top layer of the star, minor and I don't think detracting at all, Whoever applied the gold wasn't completely thorough, there is a bit of the red showing on the lower layers of the sides particularly (not visible when viewed from the front). No mirror now (or glass, should one wish to use it as a picture frame), but plenty of room in the frame to hold one.
