I paid a good bit for this one by my standards (seems I'm quite often paying close to what I'm asking for things these days; bargains are hard to find but I am attached to keeping things accessible!)--but I was incapable of resisting it: the faces on these girls, and that black cat, and that lamb, and that little house, and, most of all, that orange spotted cloth that seems to turn into a string for the enticing the cat to play. And the lemon gold frame with the original blown glass in it too. I love it and I'll be very glad to keep it for myself!
7 3/4" x 6" framed. Early-mid 19th century, watercolor on lined laid paper, period lemon gold frame with original glass and wood back. Strung for hanging.
