I love this girl's orange coat and matching hat, and her expression--one can just feel the harsh wind she is braced against. But best of all are these wooly brown stockings, pulled up high but it seems leaving just a bit of bare skins between their tops and the bottom of her green shorts! About as true a portrait of cold as I can imagine!
5 5/8" x 3 1/2" and in very good condition. Pencil and crayon I believe, and dated 1922 in pencil on front left bottom corner. On reverse in pencil is a note describing the subject of the drawing as Miss Gaby Fabre and noting the names of her parents.
