This is the smaller of two abstract vintage watercolors I'm listing by the same unknown artist, I'd guess likely done as art school exercises, though I am not entirely certain. They've both got a bit of a Hilma af Klint vibe, this one with a more dense and saturated concentration of elongated triangular forms, transforming in color as they cross the outlined borders of the round forms. Luminous, it keeps making me think of a stained glass window.
Paper size is 17 5/8" x 12". Done on heavyweight watercolor paper and in very good condition with light wear to the corners. (I received this rolled in a tube and was quick to photograph it, so photo shows some curl to the paper; it will flatten out and will be shipped flat.) There are two tiny pin holes in two of the corners, relating to hanging it horizontally--but I'm showing it vertically as I prefer it that way; you of course can do whatever you like!
