I wonder if this toy guitar was made to play along with Josie and the Pussycats, which I remember being kind of obsessed with as a kid in the 1970s? The end of the head features a little carved cat face, and then great cat eyes with sound holes at the centers on the body, with a third hole --the nose, I'd think, with the bridge being the mouth--at center. The four strings are still taut and it's totally playable--not loud, but maybe that's a good thing! Pretty fun!
