You know I love all things kindergarten, and while I'm more a fan of Froebel's open-ended Gifts than later, somewhat more didactic kindergarten offshoots, these drawing stencils are pretty early, c. 1890, and this box contains not just seven stencils but also 16 drawings made with them, including several in which the child mixed imagery from various cards. A bit of a world tour here too (well, of the Western world, with a Dutch wind mill, German village, French convent, etc. --and two ships by which to reach them! Though not printed anywhere on the box, I believe this set was produced by McLoughlin Bros.
7 stencils plus 16 drawings made using them. Box approx 11" x 8" (I forgot to measure exactly but that is close!) All in good antique condition.
