Quite a face on this one, who looks as if he has been around the block and then around the block again, accruing a certain world wariness, but also a fair bit of wisdom! Among the most singular animal faces I've seen I'd say. I take him for a rabbit, but rather than ears that rise from the top of his head, his extend wing-like from the back of his neck, making him seems like something of a hybrid creature. Quite empathetic I think, and definitely crying out for love.
6 1/8" t x 4 1/8" w x 3 5/8" d and in very good condition, and screwed to the flat base. Mid 20th century I believe though seeming rather older!
