I believe this old handmade wooden decoy would have attached to a post, and maybe had a weighted rope or at the other end allowing one to swing it round. Now, it would be great mounted on the wall, I think showing the side on which it's terrific old paint, including that great acid green beak, blue head, and white stripes for the wing feathers, remains most in tact--really nice against the black painted wooden to which it is mounted.
20 5/8" long x 7 1/2" tall x 9/16" thick overall. The duck itself is 16" long and 1/4" thick. Very good used and aged condition with terrific graphic appeal!
