Usually, I am very picky about choosing individually pieces of stone fruit based on very particular criteria, but I found this bunch of peaches altogether and they made me swoon! They're old ones, and well tossed around, which has added a sense of further bruising to the bruises original to many of them. One often comes across bowls of mixed stone fruit, but never before have I discovered a whole bunch of one variety together and peaches are my favorites of all, of the stone variety as well as the real fruit!
These are the size of large real peaches, about 3" t x 2 or 2 1/4" wide and deep. Each is unique, and all have wooden stems. Very good condition, early 20th c. I believe. Price is for the lot of seven.
