I have bought and sold many dozens of sets of US Embossing Co. Color Cubes, but I have NEVER found a set of these Kolor Blox, as much as I have hoped to, until now. And while Color Cubes were produced in evolving editions over many decades, from what I can determine (not a lot about these out there, and no other available sets that I can see), these were only produced in the 1930s. Photos give some sense of possibilities, but I certainly could have spent the whole day playing with these, and of course especially love the blocks with two half circles on them, which, as shown in first photo, can be positioned to form hearts. A very scarce set for the blocks collector or anyone who loves color, pattern, educational materials, and good design.
6" x 6" overall. Cardboard box shows wear and split corners, but blocks themselves are in very good condition. All painted on both sides, with different colors/patterns on each side.
