Ethiopian Terra Cotta Head Fragment, Aksumite?

I cannot authenticate the age or authenticity of this head, which I purchased just because I really like it, but I do know if came from Ethiopia, and it looks very much like ancient Aksumite heads, examples of which I've included in photos. (Aksum was  an ancient Ethiopian kingdom that spanned what are now Eritrea, northern Ethiopia, much of eastern Sudan and southern/eastern Yemen.) The interior of the neck is shows texture, as if molded over a wooden form perhaps. In any event, chipped nose and all, I just think it's a wonderful face, and fits perfectly over a finger should one want to animate it!
