I like buying things of the place where I find them, and thought this c. late 19th c. Empire State Mineral Waters glass bottle, produced for Hennessy and Nolan of Albany, NY, was great looking, and beautifully specific, with the Albany capital building impressed (in relief) across its face, and again on its bottom--with that rendering having a very hand-drawn feel. I'm not usually much interested in old glass bottles, but I think this is really a cool one, especially for someone proud to be from the Empire State!
6 7/8" t x 2 3/8" d and in good condition. A little dusty inside, I have not cleaned. Lots of bubbled in this glass, adding up to lots of character.
