With its graceful form and gorgeous hand-painted surface treatment, this hand thrown studio pottery vase delivers a pure dose of loveliness. Large enough to feel substantial but small enough to fit anywhere (or to carry with you from room to room!), it is beautifully made, and at once subtle and attention getting. Darker blue and brown horizontal striations bring your eye up toward the lip and whatever bloom it might display, while the pale, faintly speckled lower half rather reminds one of a robin's egg.
The vase is signed with what looks like "Sena" on the bottom. It measures 3.75ʺ across and 5.75ʺ tall, with a 1.5 inch diameter at the opening. Excellent condition.
