I think it is always time for bunnies, Easter or otherwise! And eggs are especially timely (and hard to come by) at the moment. This is an unsigned drawing by Wayne Blouch, one of a good number of drawings of his I purchased together a few years ago, and many of which were featured in a collaborative "viewing room" project I did a few years ago with Ricco Maresca Gallery.
Wayne B. Blouch was born c. 1900 in Bunker Hill, Lebanon County, and went on to teach social science in Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, until his death at the age of 55. A few of the drawings in the group this one came from, of a very similar manner, were signed and dated 1910, so I am quite confident this dates to just about then.
11 7/8" x 7 1/4". Black and red ink on ledger paper. Toning along top edge and a few clear tears along that top edge recently mended from reverse with transparent archival tape.
