I believe this tin toy kangaroo dates to the 1910s-20s and is likely German, distinguished from later versions by its curved legs among other things, allowing it rock foreword and back. I've rarely met a kangaroo I didn't like--such curious animals!--and think this is quite a sweet, as well as pretty rare, one.
6 1/2" l x 2 3/4" t with head up, 1 7/8" wide including pins, which hold the legs in place. This kangaroo doesn't hop along in its own (!) but can be positioned in a number of ways. Some paint loss as evident but very good structural condition and I think all the better for the surface wear.
