A bit of loss to the wood along the front bottom edge of this miniature dome lid painted chest, but a rare and lovely and special feeling thing. I found this one alongside a second painted with trees and houses that I listed and sold several weeks ago, both I believe Northern European. Wonderfully painted with tulips on every side against an interesting dark blue with a little green it it, with smaller flowers and what looks like a large white sun or moon on the domed top. With original wire hinges and iron latch on front.
4 1/4" l x 3" d x 3" t. Aside from missing bit along front bottom edge, in very good condition.
