Sadly the dead insects are long gone from this old wooden box, but the great handwritten label on the top is still fairly readable, and inside still is the cork they were pinned to, with a pretty amazing line drawing with numbers that I guess once corresponded to a key detailing the various bugs, and also notes what I guess was the boxes original contents: Soledad Cuban cigars. Ready now to house a new collection, but great just for whatever.
9" l x 5 1/2" w x 2 1/2" t. Box is in very good structural condition and with a great old dry wood patina.
