I can never resist old treen cups and goblets; I just love their silhouettes, and the variations in form from one to the next. As usually one finds them one at a time, they would be a great thing to build a collection of, showcasing that variety. I especially love the stem on this one, and how the cup sits on it like on a pedestal, stepped in a bit from flat top of the stem.
I have not touched the wood on it, which shows a patch of what I think are worm holes on the surface of one area of one side, a few other marks and scrapes, and one tiny chop to the top rim of the stem. 3 1/8" t x 1 5/8" d.
