Such a striking image I think, of an Emma and Velmy and "dad," as written on the back, out in the cotton fields. The image is as atmospheric as the scene itself, and a bit weathered like the face of this father, adding up what feels like a portrait of a hard working life filtered through the haze of a dream--or like a photo still from early realist film.
5 7/16 x 3 1/2". Loss to bottom right corner, a bit of edge wear and a couple of small scuffs to the suface, which I think really just add to the mood of it.
