Pair of Tiny Gem Tintypes in Tiny Hand-carved Frames

I'd never seen a tiny gem tintype in a hand-carved frame before, but here these two are, perhaps made for setting on the mantle in a dollhouse. Uncommon and pretty special I think, and I like the faces and attitudes on both of the subjects--perhaps the heads of the household, or perhaps the serious daughter and out-seeking-his fortune son. For the lover of miniature wonders.

Him: 1 1/8" x 1". Her 1 1/8" x 7/8". Good antique condition. Some dust on him captured in first photo (shot with magnification; I wiped most of it off for detail photo of him but there may yet be a few light scratches.
