Such a charmer of a piece of folk architecture I think, resourcefully made of cigar box wood and exuberantly painted in a yellow grid with graphite drawn front door (and tiny clock overhead) and window panes, which offer a view of the stairs zig zagging diagonally from top to bottom on one short side. I'm not sure if there was ever a base to match the roof--it doesn't appear so, and as is the open bottom would allow one to stash some secret things inside! I love the labor invested in it combined with the simplicity of the structure and just wish I had a whole city block's worth!
8 1/2" t x 5 7/16" x 3 1/4" and in good condition. One area of greening on one side, probably from some moisture at some point. Stands straight and tall and steady.
