I've got increasingly picky about carved whimsies, and while this one is not antique or super complicated, I really like the elongated shape of the links and especially the faceted geometric carving dangling at one end, balancing the ball in cage on the other. Mid 20th c. I believe, with a nice dry wood patina. Nice hanging down from one nail on the wall, perhaps next to where one hangs the keys, reminding one of key fobs!
16 1/2" long x 7/8" wide and deep and in excellent condition.
