I love a slab vase, and this one, to my eye, is exactly right--great lines, striking from every angle, not a fussy thing about it but with the hand of its maker very palpable. Great just by itself, but what doesn't look great in a matte black glazed slab vase?! Very nice.
8 1/2" tall x 9 1/2" wide x 2 1/4" deep. Opening measures 2 1/2" across by 1 1/8" d. Great condition; there is one tiny chip to the underside of one pointy end at the base, not visible unless turned upside down. Signed (incised) on the bottom with what looks to be Tamsin (??), which has lead me nowhere!
