Confetti Like Lot of Colorful Lacquered Chips

Just way too pretty and satisfying in their abundance to resist these. I'm not sure if these were used as markers for a game, or are the byproduct of making something else, but I'm glad they exist. The color on them is a lacquer-like finish, and the material seems like some sort of composite, almost like very thinly sliced bone but they are smaller and lighter in weight than bone gaming chips. I have some feeling they are Japanese, but don't know for sure. Whatever the case, pretty satisfying piled up as a mass in a bowl or box, to run one's finger through occasionally. And they would, most definitely, make for festive tossing at, say, a wedding!
