When I spotted this set of four hand-painted porcelain demitasse cups, made in Japan circa 1940s, I was immediately smitten. I love the mix of colors, and would be inclined to mix and match cups and saucers. This is exactly the sort of cup that makes me want to bake a chocolate torte so that I can serve after dinner espresso in this cup with it.
The cups are in great condition, with just a tiny loss of paint in a couple of spots. The cups measure 2 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" across at rim and 3 1/8 across at handle, The saucers measure 4 3/4" in diameter and 3/4" tall.
