Coastal New England Harbor, Soft and Serene Watercolor/Gouache on Board, c. 1940s

A lovely, very gently moody painting of a coastal New England harbor--looks quite a bit like Rockport, MA to me, but could just as likely be somewhere in Maine. Seems the bottom edge may have been trimmed a bit at some point--looks like it was signed Tisdale. Sometimes one just wants a soft and serene scenic painting that transports one to a specific place.

9 3/4" x 6 5/8", watercolor/gouache on artist board. Very good condition, likely trimmed along the bottom edge just a hair. One very small surface loss/abrasion to bottom right corner, minor.
