This came from an album of exercises done by a kindergartener in 1909, bound by strings which came apart in my hands as I began to handle it. I will try tying it back together and likely list it as one thing, but since it was already apart I thought I'd list my favorite, which seems appropriate on a mournful day. The cutout fabric lamb almost glows against the brown paper card to which is was glued, which has a bit of a sheen, and then this perfect pencil drawn eye bringing it to life.
9 1/4" x 7 1/2". A few tiny stains to the paper and two holes at left from where it was bound with string.
