Chunky Vintage Homemade Wooden Revolver in Crusty Paint

Regular price $50.00

I turn up old carved toy guns less often than I used to, so when I do I am especially quick to snap them up, this one found in Maine last weekend. There is a small loss to the hammer, which it took me a bit to notice--for me it is all about the graphic play of creamy white and black, with good and crusty surface, especially on the handle.  And a nice chunky one, which feels good in the hand. C. 1950s or so I would guess.

11 1/2" l x 5 1/8" t x 2 1/8" d. Sturdy and sound. Loss to hammer as noted and documented, and a hairline running horizontally across handle, as shown--maybe a repair or maybe originally constructed of two pieces of wood?
