Child in Crimson with Fancy Lace, Draped Textile, and Craquelure, Antique Folk Art Tintype

I love a folk art painted tintype, but have gotten pretty picky, looking especially for elaborately painted ones, just like this--and that matte blue ground really makes it pop! Kind of a strange looking child, with excellent head of hair, and wonderful lace collar and cuffs, which--see detail photos--has become even more lace-like due to the perfect spiderweb of craquelure covering just those surfaces. Plus marvelous detailing in rich reds and golds on the draped textile/rug, and a field of reds stairs on black ground underfoot. A stunner!

10 1/8" x 8", very good antique condition, with a little paint loss/surface wear around the far perimeters, I believe from where a mat one just barely covered the edges.
