These days, I am a firm believer in injecting little doses of happiness into as many daily rituals as possible. This hand thrown sugar bowl--which would also be great for keeping jam, or tea bags--is a great example; Any breakfast-time would be just a little brighter with it on the table. Very nicely made, it is reminiscent of pottery of the arts and craft movement, though I do not believe it is that old. The glaze is a pretty blue with just a hint of green in it, and the sun's a cheerful shade of yellow.
Signed on the bottom, it measures 4 1/2" tall with the lid on, and 4 1/4" diameter and is in excellent condition.
