Small, but wonderful! I assume this sweet little doll was made long ago from a wooden clothespin, the sides of which its maker carefully carved out in order to attach by tiny nail two arms that move up and down, and then drew a little face on too. I'd think it has well over a hundred years on it but remains in fine structural shape, with one nail a tiny bit higher than flush on front but still going through to the back, where there is a thin split in the wood but it is still holding fine, and the arms move freely and easily. A little post on one foot suggests it might once have had shoes, or perhaps attached to a base.
