There are a fair number of old chalkware donkeys out there, most made to be part of tabletop mangers and the like; I am not completely sure this is one of those, as it is far more charming than any others I have seen, but that might be my guess. He lost his ears along the way, which I think just adds to his very empathetic nature, as does some chipping to the pink paint of his muzzle. Great surface all over and loaded with character.
5" l x 4 1/4" t x 2 1/8" w. Structurally sound and stable, and stands up straight and sturdy on his base.
