Antique Folk Art Cigar Box Wood Doll Chest with Mirror Plus Wash Stand in Blue and Silver

Regular price $80.00

A sweet old pair, periwinkle blue-gray paint with silver trim, dating I believe to the late 19th or very early 20th century. With a hammered tin panel mounted to the top section of the taller one, and metal framed mirror adhered to that. I presume the one at left is meant to be a wash stand, with the horizontal dowels meant for linens. With antique cigar box labels all over the drawers, including one dated 1886. Very charming, and in great shape.

Mirrored chest: 9 1/4" t x 5 1/8" w x 3 3/4" d. Wash stand: 8 1/8" t x 4 1/2" w x 3 1/2" d.  Both in very good condition, sturdy and sound, with drawers pulling out easily and closing flush. Upper drawer of wash stand with recently replaced left pull; a dab of silver paint would make it blend right in.
