I didn't realize when I found it what collectors' items these old SRG dinosaurs are; it seems there was a whole set of them produced (copyright 1947), representing various Dino species, and that the American Museum of Natural History in New York was the primary place to get them. I personally think this Brontosaurus is the best of the lot, just a perfect little companion for the desk or shelf.
I know that it is marked "SRG" on its belly but it is obscured by the green patina. There is loss to the brass finish in a few spots--on one side of his tiny head and a couple of spots on the tail (shot at magnification). 4 1/4" l x 1 1/4" t x 3/4" w.
