This roughly carved little man is carrying a heavy load, made all the more burdensome by the fact that he has lost his feet! Perhaps he was once part of a larger situation, extricated only by cutting him off at the ankles--which was done a but unevenly, such that he needs to lean against something in order to stand. But what a great figure I think he is, with these fine features, square shoulders, muscled arms and huge hands with individuated fingers--altogether a pure embodiment of endurance and fortitude!
6" tall x 2 1/2" wide x 2 1/4" deep and, despite the loss of his feet, in very good condition. The color of the wood is closest to that in the first photo--a soft dark brown.
