Such a sweet spoon. I'd probably be inclined to keep this one very near at hand, perhaps sitting in an old wooden bowl on the counter filled sea salt, so that I could use it all of the time. Hand-carved and quite old I think, it's got a great shape, nice large bowl, and terrific little stars inside of squares carved in the handle, with a row of dots on either side. I think one can really viscerally feel the love and care that went into making this; so nice.
6" long x 1 3/4" wide x 1" deep. Very good antique condition, with a nice sheen from age and use. There is some dryness/wear to the wood on the bowl of the spoon and along its edges.
