The shape of this snake remind me a bit of that of a boomerang, and the inked black and gold decoration all over feels a bit Aboriginal Australian too, but I don't know for sure where I came from--just that I think its a pretty great snake, just the right size to keep on one's desk, or put on someone else's as a surprise! Nicely carved head with open mouth and white teeth inside.
10 1/2" long measured as a straight line from head to tail; 4 1/4" across at widest; 2 1/4" tall; 11/16" thick. Very good vintage condition, and decorated on the underside, too.
