One of three engravings I am listing, c. 1800 or so I believe though perhaps a bit earlier, all from the same volume, which I have not identified. As someone who spends the warmer months endlessly checking the dog as well as myself for ticks, I couldn’t resist this one, with magnified views of dog tick and little black tick, as well as the flea and the louse and the itch and the mite and the gnat, etc! Plus the delicacy of those tendrils at center, so lovely!
16 1/4 x 9 1/4. Good antique condition, no tears or creases, just some age toning and light foxing mostly around the edges/margins of the paper. Blank on reverse.
