Holy moly, I could look at this image forever. Beyond simply standing as a cool, very early 20th century first hand document of a burning oil tank in Parker, PA (located in Armstrong County, in the Allegheny River Valley), I find the combination of lush, spectacular smoke cloud against spare landscape and minimalist oil tank formally PERFECT. And then also a terrific tension between the intense smoke and the two bushes or trees on the horizon to its left. Just great.
3 1/2" x 5 1/2". Unused back. A bit of bumping to corners, minor; overall very good condition.
