In addition to the Flash Hand Cleaner can I just listed, this 1950s Brown Derby can called out to me on a recent outing--even in its rusty, crusty state (and really I think in significant part because of it), I find it a beautiful thing. And it turns out these are fairly rare. To me it has sort of a Magritte-ian feel to it, and the combo of the hat and lettering and decorative scrolls at top and bottom are just perfect. brown Derby was made by the Maier Brewing Co. in Los Angeles, and this 12 oz. can was manufactured by the National Can Co.
4 7/8" t x 2 3/4" in diameter. Very rusted as obvious, especially on the backside, but not rusted through.
