Blooming Roses and Bids, 19th C. Framed Theorem Watercolor

Regular price $85.00

I've got a real weakness for 19th c. theorem paintings, on velvet or paper, flowers or fruit, or whatever! The pink buds on this watercolor have surely faded some so as to show just the palest color, but the green is bold, the larger blooms more pronounced, and the cream colored paper, darkened with age, lending a sense of atmosphere. In a nice old period wood frame with wood panel back and wire hanging loop.

9 x 7 3/4" framed and in food condition, with a hanging loop at top.
