A bit of an unusual one in my experience for this cat being oriented in profile, and what an excellent face, I think, subtly smiling (the smile carved rather than painted) and looking very much as if holding a secret--or having just swallowed a canary! Great character, well constructed, and with excellent alligatoring to the creamy white paint of the face on both sides. It also seems like a pretty early on to me, maybe 1920s-30s?
7 5/8" t x 8 1/16" long at base x 1 1/4" d. Good and sturdy condition, with one nick to the surface of the face on one one side a few spatterings of white paint.
