I really have no idea what all is going on in ink drawing on the front of this postcard, but I think it is quite extraordinary, and I am totally fascinated by it! Who are these two woman behind the shop desk, and what are they selling?! Are the posted signs warning of "The Evil Eye of the Daughters of Eve" and "Satan's Mischief" the commentary/zealotry of the sender, E.C? The message at the bottom from the sender, noting "Glad to hear of good progress," makes it all the more intriguing. I feel like there is a whole thesis embedded in this, and it you have insights, please share!
I believe the year on the postmark on reverse is 1904, and I know that Middse refers to Middlesex, north of London. It's in very good condition, with a little darkening around the edges and a couple of dark spots on the front; pretty mirror. Approx 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" .
