I found this one at an antique shop in central MA where I sometimes turn up interesting and unexpected things, and while I wear little jewelry myself, I put this on immediately and wore it for the day. It is Native Alaskan, and the hand-carved beads I believe are walrus tusk--you can see in detail photos the "oatmeal" structure. I am not an expert, but this seems clearly an older piece and was described to be by the dealer as such, earlier 20th century I would guess.
29" long measured straight. More than long enough to fit over the head without using the clasp. Very good condition, photos give a good sense.
