I find the carefully hand-sewn hooded parka (made of seal skin I believe) worn by this small Inuit doll quite an amazing thing in and of itself, but also really loved removing it to reveal the fantastic long legged proportions of the doll inside! All the better to see his wonderfully carved and rosily painted face, too. 1920s or so I believe, with a "made in Labrador" sticker still attached to the back of one leg, and so lovely it just about breaks my heart.
5 1/8" t x 2 1/2" w x 1 1/4" d. Very good condition, with some fur loss and a couple of holes in the skin of the parka; completely sound and stable and clean.
