Beautiful Early Set of 36 Color Cubes with Best Orange-Reds and Blue-Blacks

I'll never tire of beautiful early painted color cubes--a far cry from later sets in terms of the richness of colors and surfaces; every time I find some they feel like a great gift. And these are as good as they get, with the best orange-reds and black-blues. (I could spend the rest of my life just photographing them--and in the process of documenting these, it occurred to me that orienting as a diamond activates another set of pattern considerations.) Just gorgeous.

1 1/16" cubed each, set of 36 plus 3 extras should you lost one or two. There is some graphite doodling on a few of the orange-red sides, to the good in my opinion, but easy to work around in pattern creation if not in yours.
