Just a beauty of a painting, 19th c. Hudson River school I believe, and all the better for being executed on wood panel, which I think always lends oil paintings an extra radiance and sense of specialness. Perfectly presented in a birds eye maple frame, which I believe is quite likely original to it. All in excellent condition, depicting a quintessential tree framed view with sailboats at center and mountains in distance; lovely and very transportive.
14 1/4" x 11 3/8" framed. Sight: 10 3/8" x 7 5/16". Very very good antique condition, no issues at all.
