A beautifully produced softcover exhibition catalog produced in conjunction with a retrospective of the influential work of Arshile Gorky (1904-1948) at the Museum of Modern Art in collaboration with the Washington Gallery of Modern Art. Edited by William Seitz, the catalog includes a foreword by Julien Levy, discussions on Gorky's creative output, black and white reproductions and two color plates, and a brief chronology.
Very good overall condition, excepting what looks like graphite or charcoal marks on cover, as documented. 9 1/2" x 8.5", 56 pages.
