The existence of rewards of merit makes me glad, given from teachers to students to affirm their good efforts, as does the fact that people saved them. Last weekend I found a large collection of them in a box in Midcoast Maine--quite a nice variety of them, which I've divided into three groups, all listed today. The ones in this group were never filled in with the names of students, so I thought nice to group together, as one could fill them in and award them now! These are later 19th century, all printed on card.
