Antique Book-Shaped Folk Engraved Snuff Box with (Male and Female) Shaking Hands

I first took these shaking hands as fraternal, but look closer and it is the hand of a woman meeting the hand of a man. And on the reverse, though some of the engraving is worn, it looks to me as though to say "From Helen" in very stylized lettering. The seller described the box as Dutch but I think perhaps English instead, and I believe silver plate, with some surface loss as shown. Of course I love that the box is in the form of a book, too...love and books go hand in hand!:) I believe originally made as a snuff/tobacco box, with hinged lid opening up from one side, as shown. Later 19th century I believe.

2 7/8" x 1 13/16" x 5/8". Surface wear to exterior and interior as evident and detailed, including a little plating loss to the opening side near the hinge, and loss to one raised band at the base of the "spine".
